Entrepreneurship at the School of Management

Entrepreneurship at the School of Management means much more than just starting a new venture. Entrepreneurship is about innovation and learning to apply the best practices in management to today's business and social problems, whether the setting is a start-up in a garage or a global Fortune 100 corporation. The study of entrepreneurship is a study in how best to create value regardless of the limits of resources as you begin.

The School of Management offers many opportunities for students to study entrepreneurship first hand, both in and out of the classroom. Programs include the Student Entrepreneurship Club, a new Laboratory in Entrepreneurship working with the Business Alliance and the Grubstake Breakfasts, and a new course in Independent Study in Entrepreneurship.

Whether you are a prospective student, current student, alum or member of our Mason community, we invite you to come in and explore the resources available to help you become a more successful Entrepreneur.

Testimonial from the MBA Program"The entrepreneurship concentration focuses on the critical areas of starting a new business such as the fundraising process, writing a strong business plan, and building the right management team. I'm confident about my ability to start my own firm."
