Welcome to Entrepreneurship at the School of Public Policy
At the School of Public Policy, entrepreneurship is examined from every possible perspective. We integrate academic disciplines and methodological techniques to focus on entrepreneurship theory, research and policy.
We conduct cutting-edge research on the foundations of entrepreneurship theory, in order to enhance our understanding of practice and policy. Our unique focus on policy helps bridge the gap between academic research and the real world, thereby providing a holistic approach to the complex dynamics of entrepreneurship.
Our view
Entrepreneurship is treated as an organic process that occurs at multiple levels of analysis. Our work on theory, research and policy fits broadly within four research themes:
- Entrepreneurship and economic development
- Entrepreneurship and innovation
- Regional economic development
- Social entrepreneurship and philanthropy
